It’s That Time of the Week Again

Back to work…. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I know I did. Be back soon with some fun weekend recaps (shark!!!).

Well That Was Fun

It was such a great Fourth of July weekend I’m just now getting back into the swing of things.

The San Diego weather was amazing. My brother and his girlfriend Heather dropped by Sunday. And there was lots of eats. Lots.

Work Field Trip

I’m currently in the middle of a long day of meetings. But you’ll only find me smiling because 1) it’s at the Grand Manchester Hyatt downtown (swanky!) and 2) I’m away from my desk.

So this week, after a few weeks of too much pizza and beer, I have been trying to eat more nutritious and healthy eats. So I’m giving myself a pat on the back and applauding my self control on not setting up camp at the pastry table (so so tempting) and sticking to a nice grilled chicken salad….and chips and guac. And ceviche. And a mini black bean empanada. Okay… So I could’ve done better. But hey- there’s always tomorrow 😉

Now back to my meeting…

I Feel Ya, Rudd

It is officially half way through the slowest work week I can remember in a long, long time.

Folks, we’ve got sunny weather here in San Diego, a Holiday weekend fast approaching, and I do not want to be working!

Adam and I watched Wet Hot American Summer last night. I think this scene best expresses how I feel at work right now:

Get’s me every time!

Work? Oh Yah. I will…uh, I just got…I don’t have time right now!  There are weddings to attend, bbq to chow down on, and sun to be soaked up.

Am I alone here?

Also, how great is this movie???
